BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAM ON REGIONAL AND CITY PLANNING This study program aims to produce graduates with these following competencies: 1) Substantially capable in developing ideas or thoughts to proude regional/city planning; 2) Technically capable in presenting regional and city planning products; and 3) Capable in cooperating with multi-disciplines experts in a team work. MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM ON ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING This study progam aims to produce graduates with these following competencies. General Objectives:
MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM ON ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING MAJOR IN URBAN DESIGN This study progam aims to produce graduates with these following competencies: General Obecjtives
MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM ON ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING MAJOR IN ARCHITECTURE AND TOURISM PLANNING This study progam aims to produce graduates with these following competencies: General Objectives
MASTER PROGRAM IN REGIONAL & CITY PLANNING Generally, the objectives of the program is that as a higher education this program has public service orientation, which is helping local human resource that can finally meet professional qualification in their fields. Concerning rural human resource development, thus these definitions are formulated in the graduate competencies which are:
LABORATORIES Architecture Design Laboratory Head: Ir. Sigit Sayogya Basuki, MS. This lab has activities in architecture development consists of theory, concept, and method in architecture planning transformation. This laboratory also works building designing for many of government institutions for conducting public services. Students can also work as an assistant in designing projects for gaining more practical experiences that will be beneficial in their future lifes. This laboratory also provides research facilities on lots of architectural aspects in building, building complex, and urban design. Building Technology Laboratory Head: Ir. Soeleman Saragih, MT. This laboratory carries out building planning or structure engineering, building material and structure, and environmental architecture science development, through learning, research, and application process in the community that supported by digital (using software) and physics model simulation. Architecture History and Development Laboratory Head: Ir. Ismudiyanto, MS. This laboratory develops teaching, research, and public services activities in building architecture history and development, building complex, and district subject by using future perspective. This laboratory also improves basic knowledge on indigenous, western and eastern architecture, and knowledge on building and district conservation that is usable for theory, technology, and architecture designing development. City And Regional Planning Laboratory Head: Ir. Gunung Radjiman, M.Sc. This is a place for teaching staffs having major in city and regional planning. This laboratory is developing quantitative and qualitative methodology for analyzing city and regional development and also its policy. Many researches are used to improve students’ knowledge and practical experiences in city planning. Housing Planning Laboratory Head: Ir. Didik Kristiadi, MLA, MAUD. This laboratory is a place for research and planning on housing. This subject is a combination of social, culture, economy, physics in architecture engineering and planning that involves students. EDUCATION AND TEACHING INSTRUCTIONS BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAM ON ARCHITECTURE Requirement. Architecture Design Studio subject is a subject that is taught in every semester from the 1st to the 7th. The Architecture Design Studio is prerequaite to the next architecture studio which means for taking the next semester’s subject, students will have to pass the current one with minimum grade of “D”. Field Work. Students should carry out field work or project work that has something to do with architecture. Final Project. Consists of designing and planning principles formulation in studio, that determines the graduation of this bachelor program. Final project can be taken after finishing all subjects with minimum grade of “D” and GPA of 2.00. BACHELOR PROGRAM ON CITY AND REGIONAL PLANNING PLANNING STUDIO Main subject in this program is City and Regional Planning which is thaught from the 1st – 7th semester. Planning studio is divided into 3 main groups as follows:
Final Project. At the end of their study, students are assigned to analyze latest issues on city and regional planning and try to give recommendation concerning their analysis. The final project’s domain is spatial or process planning. Supervision process is started since the 6th semester through “research methodology” subject and continued to 7th semester through research proposal seminar carried out by student. During the 8th semester, students will be presenting their research and analysis report and end it with conclusion and suggestion for city planning activities. MAGISTER PROGRAM ON CITY AND REGIONAL PLANNING Considering the many characters that need to be faced in city planning in Indonesia, this program should be multi-dimensional or multi-diciplines. These multi-diciplines character will be supported by various backgrounds of its students. Its main targets ar working professional (mid-career profesional) in government or private sectors who already have bachelor degree certificates in any of these following fields of study: economy, geography, architect, civil, geodetic, geology, agriculture, etc. This program is a short term program for 15 months or equals with 4 semesters in general post-graduate study that gives “magister” predicate to its graduates. These 15 months is devided into 4 fourth-months, the first is for theory and the last 3 (which are shorten to 3 months each) are for thesis.
